Endurance Scalextric at Trincity

There will be action in the Under-15, 15-75 and Champion of Champions divisions during the day’s proceedings, with the racers congregating at the South Entrance Section “A” of the Mall. On Saturday last, Junior Joseph won the Castrol Champion of Champions Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 7 competition with 78.6 points, followed by Luke Bhola 75.5, Ramesh Bhola 74.3 and Peter De Montbrun, honorary secretary of the Model Car Association of Trinidad and Tobago, fourth with 71.8.

Luke Bhola emerged victorious in the Open Modified Car Competition with 77.6 points, ahead of Joseph 77, David Deane 62.1 and Ramesh Bhola 50.2. In related news, members of the national scalextric team, who will feature at the Caribbean Championships in Grenada, are asked to attend a special coaching and warm-up session at the Trincity Mall today from 10 am.
