A PENAL woman complained to The People’s Hotline over a street light which has not been working for the past three months. June Singh of Clarke Road, Penal said the street light in front of her home stopped working in April.

Singh said she made several complaints to TTEC but to no avail. She said the situation grew worse after bandits took advantage of the darkness to steal things from her yard.

The People’s Hotline spoke to a clerk in TTEC’s Streetlights Division who proceeded to file the report and who promised to send technicians to Singh’s home within a week of our call.

A relieved Singh called The People’s Hotline yesterday saying a TTEC repair crew visited her home and replaced the street light.

“I am grateful for the help given by The People’s Hotline. Thank you so much,” she ended.
