Paranderos singing the blues

One group raised a query concerning a group that sang old songs and placed second, although the rules required that at least one song should be new. It appears that some of the judges are disregarding the rules and awarding marks based on other criteria known only to themselves.

The situation reeks of favouritism and bias and NPATT apparently is not prepared to deal decisively with it. Another parang season is upon us and die-hard paranderos would support it but I am urging them now to boycott all shows if there is no end to biased judging and late awarding of prize monies.
