When she demanded a refund, she told The People’s Hotline, the store clerk refused. When Hotline checked with Lewis Appliance, an official apologised and promised to deal with the matter promptly.

A thankful Springer called Hotline yesterday saying she received her refund, and was very grateful to Newsday for helping her solve this problem.
