TT weather still fickle

MET officials pointed out that a tropical wave, developing at 42 degrees West Longtitude in the Atlantic Ocean, is expected to pass over the country within the next three to four days. MET officials indicated that if the wave continues to move westward certain parts of the country could experience some brief isolated showers, but no heavy rainfall.

Representatives from the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management (ODPM) described this sort of activity as normal, stating the ODPM was doing everything in its power to frequently monitor the weather, in the event of any sudden/drastic change in weather conditions.
