Taylor nets Cayman for Republic

On his new assignment, Taylor noted that the recent acquisition of Dextra Bank & Trust in the Cayman Islands will strengthen Republic’s position in that island and will enable them to expand their services to the bank’s clientele.

He stated that the bank was already working on taking TT dollar deposits for customers who wish to hold their funds offshore, with the unique advantages that such a facility offers. He said that customers would receive details on the offering in the coming weeks.

Taylor, an experienced banker with considerable expertise in this arena, has previously held senior management positions in Republic Bank and its subsidiary, Republic Finance and Merchant. He was also the Finance Director with Taylor Engineering Agencies Limited.

Taylor graduated from the UWI with a Bachelor of Science Degree (first class honours) in Accounting and holds a diploma in Business Management from the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of the UWI. A keen sportsman, Taylor is an active member of Caribs Football Rug.
