MTS denies being fired by NCRHA

In a release to “put the record straight,” MTS said another security firm was engaged by the NCRHA and this was a “breach of its contract with MTS. In view of this breach, MTS provided the EWMSC with ample opportunity to address the issue but received no response.”

The release said to avoid further security issues, it moved to terminate its contract with the NCRHA and is no longer providing security to the EWMSC. MTS said it was regrettable that recent media reports suggested that the recent murder (of Nicole Gibson, a worker of Missions International) at EWMSC was the result of security negligence.

Within the past year, the company said it offered free consultancy service to the North West Regional Health Authority for upgrading its security arrangements, including electronic solutions.
