TT wins 6 at World Arts Championships

Among the awards won by the team were Best Costume; Best Parade of Nations, and a second prize for the nation with the most people competing at the competition. South Africa took first place in this category.

From the team of Carivog World Stars, two of TT’s competitors highlighted at the opening ceremony won a standing ovation from the packed audience.

They were Drummers of Tomorrow from Tobago, and the Marcia Charles Dance troupe.

Competition in the various categories started yesterday.
