When chickens come home to roost

The former president and prime minister Arthur NR Robinson and his wife Patricia were the targets of the UNC hecklers in New York near the United Nations building. A leading activist who was once described as the man wearing short pants claimed responsibility for that debacle.

Now four years later, a former Attorney General was the feature speaker in a rally organised by the Queens-based Caribbean Law Association and other human rights groups. He was given leeway to politick the issue regarding the Chief Justice. Mr Ramesh Lawrence Maharaj suffers from amnesia: I remember when he used his office of Attorney General to insult then president Arthur NR Robinson, then Chief Justice Michael de la Bastide, and Justice Ivor Archie.

This is the same individual who is adept at promoting advocate advertisement — the art of making right look wrong. A chick with the diplomatic core within Trinidad shows the opposite of what this republic is perceived by the international countries.

The use of reverse psychology is also reflected in the efforts to thwart plans by Housing Development Corporation for east Port-of-Spain. And it seems that the chickens are coming home to roost with the appearance of Jack Warner in that issue.
