Sunshine makes way for showers

A tropical wave is brewing 254 km east of the Windward Islands and although it is not expected to pass over, the country is expected to experience isolated showers and thundershowers generated by it.

The tropical wave, however, is due to strengthen over the next six to 12 hours and will adversely affect islands north of Trinidad and Tobago, the Meterological Service said in a statement yesterday.
