We want piece of the pie

He said that wage increases would create further inflationary pressures and push prices up. I wonder if the increase in the Ministers’ salaries didn’t have the same effect.

How come they can get salary increases and us poor folks can’t? I have a suggestion. Why don’t you and government ministers take a pay decrease if you are so interested in dealing with inflation. Cut some of the perks that you have and I am sure the economy will see a change.

If you are not willing to do that then give us poor people a piece of the pie.
