Come on TSTT
After approximately two weeks, my phone was eventually repaired but I was soon to realise that the lines were crossed. I was receiving a neighbour’s calls while the neighbour received mine. Complaints again were made to TSTT.
On one particular occasion, a supposedly ‘courteous’ staff member had the audacity to tell me that she was ‘fed up’ with my complaints. Unsympathetic toward my situation, she went on to explain harshly that they already knew about the complaints and that maintenance work was being done in the area. Oh please TSTT! So how then do you explain why my line alone was crossed with a neighbour’s while the other lines in the area of Caratal, Cumuto were all well and functioning? This treatment is totally atrocious on the part of TSTT, the organisation that boasts of being the #1 network in TT.
One month after of dealing with crossed lines, the phones in the entire village of Caratal went dead. We were eventually informed by a resident of the adjacent village of Coryal that the telephone cable was stolen which resulted in the loss of our phone service.
I must mention that between reports, TSTT vehicles with crew members graced us, with their presence for fleeting moments, once or twice for the most. After which they were not seen or heard from again. In addition, TSTT did not hesitate to send me a bill for the month of June which I refuse to pay because of unavailable service.
Up till this day, I remain without land line and internet services while my fellow villagers’ service had been restored since August 5, 2006. At the moment, I can only contact my friends, family and authorities in cases of emergencies through my cell phone of the other network.
I am really upset, disgusted, enraged and definitely ‘fed up’ now with TSTT’s negligence, exploitation and inconsideration toward their customers. Come on TSTT, I am pleading with you to address this matter.
