SUGAR ALOES RECOVERING

Despite several rumours that veteran calypsonian Sugar Aloes has died, Newsday understands that he is actually recovering in the intensive care ward of an Antiguan hospital after undergoing intestinal surgery. Protector, the head of Trinbago Unified Calypsonian’s Organisation (TUCO) said of Aloes yesterday: “He is alive. I would like it if all the rumours would stop and if everyone would say a prayer for him for his speedy recovery.”
