‘Father’ where is the right place to be?

I recall not so long ago when the murders and mayhem used to be “gang related.” That, according to Our Caring Father who art in St Ann’s, was evidently designed to put us dotish people at ease. Oh Father, please pray tell when did the madness go from being “gang related” to citizens simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

You see, I am not a member of any gang, cabal, or any of 1.3 million caring organisations out there that put country first. However, I would hate to be in the “wrong place” at the “wrong time” and end up a number like, just say 137. Does anyone besides immediate friends and family recall who that was? — unlike 136 who has been kept alive and hopefully will come back to haunt the misleaders of this once proud nation. Or like the hundreds of others, who have been long forgotten by the people who are paid to make sure that “investigations are continuing,” while the numbers pile up and are simply being used as statistical ammunition for a sorry gang that passes for an opposition.

Our Father who rented, leased and purchased many “Blimp-es,” “Eyes in the skies,” who knew who Mr Big was, who guaranteed the people of the Southern peninsula a smelter plant to liven up their environment, have mercy on us. The price of cassava has gone beyond our reach. I was in the process of suggesting that we eat gravel, but that too, Father has gone beyond our pocketbooks. Have mercy on us, Oh Caring One! For while the greedy are getting greedier, the poor are dying younger; and the tears of the mothers of this nation will be the one element capable of drowning the powerful in their folly.
