Romany urges footballers to
Romany said that getting the experience is only half the job. The players have to put into action what they have learnt he said.
Romany was referring particularly to the locally based players who were selected to the national team to go to Japan for the friendly international on August 9.
The Pro League Chairman was clear saying, “Local players must continue to work hard and keep improving. They must not feel they have arrived when they earn selection on the national team.
“The more they improve their fitness, speed, strength, tactical and technical skills, the greater will be their reward.
“As I have commented on previous occasions, professionalism is not only getting paid it is also about having the right attitude,” Romany said.
He extended congratulations to the footballers selected for Japan and urged them to continue working hard to develop their game.
