Two injured as car flies off highway

The accident occurred at about 5.45 am as Mollineau, drove a Toyota Corolla heading south along the highway. According to reports, in the vicinity of the Freeport turn-off, Mollineau lost control of the car and veered left. The car, police, said, broke through the barriers placed on the side of the highway and descended some 20 feet onto Mission Road. Luckily, police said, Mollineau’s car did not collide with any other vehicle in its path.

Residents in the area rushed to assist the victims, and contacted the Freeport police. An Emergency Health Services ambulance rushed the injured to the EWMSC where the couple were treated and warded. Freeport police are continuing investigations.
