Father, son on Princes Town card

KIRT “SPECIALIST” SINNETTE will attempt to extend his record as a professional boxer when he tackles Winston Pompey in a middleweight bout at the Princes Town Regional Corporation and Cosmic Boxing Promotions International Pro-Am Card on Saturday.
Sinnette is unbeaten in 11 fights. The fight is the feature bout on an eight-fight card.
Another feature on the card is a bout between Trinidad and Tobago’s Nigel Edwards and Barbados’ Ricardo Kellman.
Also on the card are several amateur contests with Leisel Stewart of the White Eagles Boxing Gym and Ophelia Mohammed matched in a promising encounter. Sand City Boxing Gym’s Kevon Diaz will also come up against Hank Hamilton of Cosmic in another clash.
Kern Sinnette, son of Kirt Sinnette will attempt to follow in his father’s footsteps when he takes on Duke Brooks of Biomel in a 51 kg fight.
Khalid Rowley of Tigers will come face to face with Sean Roberts in a 91-plus kg encounter while Christopher De Freitas (Tigers) and Bryan George (Cosmic) will square off in a 60 kg fight.
Two national boxers— Aaron Hassette of the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force (TTDF) and Aaron Prince (Gladiators) will also meet in a 64 kg bout.
