Fete promoters case adjourned to September 14
Brothers Derrick and Dave Lewis, who are promoters employed with Island People Promotions, appeared before Magistrate David Harris at the Fifth Court charged with using obscene language to the annoyance of persons in a public place. They were also charged with resisting arrest.
The offences allegedly occurred during the Island People Promotions party, which was held at Pier 1 in Chaguaramas on August 30.
While defence attorney Keith Scotland indicated he was prepared to proceed with the matter, he said he could not do so because the arresting officer, PC Anthony Timothy was absent.
Scotland then made an application for the matter to be dismissed, but this application was rejected by the magistrate.
The matter was adjourned to September 14.
