Senior medics now meet Monday on ‘Jankie’ issue

A report has been made at the Belmont Police Station regarding the incident at the Pathology Department, Port-of-Spain General Hospital on August 23 involving Jankie and another doctor.

In a release, the doctors expressed disappointment for Wilson’s absence at the 8.30 am meeting yesterday although she had initially agreed.

They said the incident was of a serious nature and required urgent attention from the CEO.

“She later stated that she felt more notice and a detailed agenda was needed,” the release said

The doctors were hopeful that Wilson would attend Monday’s meeting.
