Time for one leader

Are they admitting that after all this time they still do not understand the provisions of the Constitution of the party? Do they not have at their disposal the services of two former Attorney Generals? Is it that they are playing for time in the hope that frustration will cause persons to pack up and leave the party and their questionable interpretation of the party’s constitution will not be investigated? Will they ever admit that they deliberately confuse the role of the National Executive vis a vis the Political leader in order to satisfy their narcissistic sense of self-importance?

To add to the comedy of errors, this cabal has appointed a council of leaders to oversee the misdirection of the party. The aim of this leadership council is to go to every nook and cranny of the country to seek support, but I thought it is this same council, which went to every nook and cranny to invite all and sundry to the Grand National Assembly. The result — a paltry 1250 persons comprising mostly members of the now defunct (or is it) Team Unity.

Can these people recognise that they do not represent the majority of UNC members. Do they not recognise that their Monday night meetings are poorly attended because people are absolutely disgusted at their puerile behaviour? Do they not recognise that their front bench cannot even be considered for a substitute bench in the lowest football team? Do they not realise the ranting of back for front caps cannot point them in the proper direction?

Members of the United National Congress have now recognised that the hollow calls for unity are now emanating from the very perpetrators of all the confusion in their party. Members are now convinced that these hijackers who are like dinosaurs from a Jurassic age that are now fossilised in thought will soon be exposed. Members of the United National Congress have recognised that now is the time for a single party, with one Leader, with one direction, to challenge the PNM.

Members of the national community have recognised that it is happening!
