EBC denies giving advice on party symbols

Dr Masson did so during a 30-minute meeting with officials of the United National Congress (UNC) on Friday.

EBC officials at the meeting, which was reportedly held “in a very cordial atmosphere,” included Chief Elections Officer Howard Cayenne, Deputy Chief Elections Officer Versil Wright, Human Resource Manager Kenrick Francis and Assistant Communications Manager Wanda Babb.

The UNC team included Chief Executive Officer Tim Gopeesingh, Fyzabad MP Chandresh Sharma and Senator Wade Mark.
