URP office gutted in Fyzabad

A police report stated that at about 10 pm Saturday night there were several bush fires in the area and later smoke was seen coming from the office. Fire officers were unable to save the building. Up to late yesterday afternoon the cause of the fire and the cost of damage remained unknown. Sharma told Newsday, “I know the bush fire did not cause the building to burn since they keep the perimeter around the office very clean. We must be told how the fire really started now before it becomes a trend in other areas.”

Police and fire officials are investigating the fire.
