Chef stabbed, robbed

Roshan Ragoonath, 20, of Delhi Road, Fyzabad, a police report stated, was walking along Oropouche/Fyzabad Main Road at about 1.30 am when he stopped a car which he believed was a taxi.

According to the report, when he boarded the car, one of the three men who was in the vehicle, robbed Ragoonath of his Motorola cellular phone and cash.

They stabbed Ragoonath on the left leg, the report said, then pushed him out of the moving car onto the road.

Ragoonath reported the matter to the Oropouche Police Station before he sought medical attention at Siparia District Hospital.
