Slavery never abolished

As long as the gap between the rich and the poor continues to get wider there is slavery. The poor which is the majority are still slaves to low wages just as our fore- parents in comparison to the profits being made from their labour. What is there to celebrate the poor still being enslaved in poverty?

Information is education which sets one free from mental slavery. Political, social and economic bondage and slavery to poverty have never been abolished. All the races have always been slaves to this unjust worldwide system. The poor of the world regardless of race or skin colour have always been slaves chained in poverty. We say eradicate poverty to have a true emancipation day. At least our fore- parents knew that they were slaves, while today’s slaves do not know that they are slaves. In this way slavery has been upgraded.
