Models and music

In Episode 8 of the weekly show, the aspiring models were at Above Studio, situated in the CCA7 warehouse on the Fernandes Compound which is operated by photographer Alex Smailes. Smailes, last featured in the uptown photo shoot on ALGICO’s rooftop, opted for a musical theme this week, with the models posing with various instruments from a symphony orchestra.

Celebrated local designer Peter Elias dressed and accessorised the contestants in formal yet sexy black dresses and suits, while celebrity makeup artist Leasel Rovedas, created exciting and alluring looks to compliment the outfits.

During the week the contestants also had sessions with professional models Luke Ribero and Christianne Steele, who offered advice on posing, going on photo shoots and other details about modelling and professionalism.

Veronica Simon of Valentino - Italy offered tips on walking, and posture.
