Cops need info on G-Unit murder

Minutes after Julian’s murder scores of armed police and soldiers were despatched to the area, which has been labelled a “war zone”, in a bid to maintain law and order. Police fear more gang-related killings and have since been frequenting Observatory Street and environs, the area described as the location of the G-Unit headquarters, via mobile and foot patrols.

Police said Julian, 26, was the main suspect in the killing of G-Unit gang leader Kerwin “Fresh” Phillip, of Charford Court, who was shot by gunmen armed with semi-automatic guns, while walking to his car at the corner of Oxford and Henry Streets on September 16.

Julian was killed while at Observatory Street talking to a taxi driver last Friday. Persons with information are asked to contact the police at 800-TIPS, Hotline 555, 999 or the nearest police station.
