Premium privilege gas users is a deception

This is indeed gross deception.

Who pray tell does the Minister identify as the “privileged in society?” Me...because I bought a car five years ago that utilises premium gas? Or is it my next door neighbour who has four children all in school and for whom the foreign used vehicle she bought last year is an absolute essential for her family?

Certainly it is not people like the Minister herself who perhaps receives “some allowance” from the Government — a perk of the position she holds — that makes whatever the cost of gasoline irrelevant to her.

This Government needs to wake up and bypass the roses they seem so intent on smelling.

The fact is that not having utilised statistics this Government does not know who can or cannot afford to pay the increase in gasoline and, without regulating measures cannot assure the travelling public that the cost of transport will not increase.

But I guess what I think really does not matter. This Government is intent on doing whatever it wants without truly meeting the needs of or consulting the people that it is supposed to serve. On to developed nation status we go!
