Ross made the announcement recently during an orientation session for new board members of the TDC at the Hyatt Regency Trinidad, Wrightson Road,

The session provided them with an insight into the operations of the tourism industry, an overview of the TDC mandate and present work programmes as well as the performance monitoring standards required of all state enterprises.

Councillor Neil Wilson, Secretary for Tourism and Transport of the Tobago House of Assembly, also spoke of the vision for development of the tourism industry in Tobago.

In congratulating them on their recent appointment, Ross stressed that their commitment, wisdom and experience will be invaluable in the challenges ahead. “What will be most important now is the stringent measurement of all projects to ensure that there is always value for money and a solid return on investment,” he said.
