Four held on arms and ammo charges

According to a police report, at about 1.30 pm the men, aged 28, 25, 23 and 20 years, all of Spring Valley, were arrested during a routine exercise conducted along the main road by a party of officers including Cpl Ramdeen, PCs Dabro, Modeste and Alfred.

The report stated that the officers intercepted a brown B13 motorcar occupied by the four men. A search was carried out where the officers allegedly found a loaded Smith and Wesson pistol and a quantity of marijuana.

Cpl Ramdeen of the Toco Police Station is continuing the investigations.
