Gala celebration of MIC’s 35th

MIC began 35 years ago as the only commercial factory and training institution in the Technical Vocational field. Today, it is the premier Technical Vocational Training institution in the region.

Throughout the night guests were serenaded by the MIC Steel Ensemble, Latino Soy Parang Group, Renee Solomon - a well known classically trained singer, and Ru Anne Cabralis, MIC’s own talented singer.

Awards were given to employees with between 15 - 35 years of service.

Special guests included Christine Kangaloo, Minister of Science, Technology and Tertiary Education, our German partner, Prof. Franz Dunkel, Managing Director of the ICON Institute of Aachen German and the German Ambassador, Dr. Ernst Martens. Master of Ceremonies was Leasel Rovedas.
