New eco resort in Valencia
The resort is nested in the foothills of Valencia on Cumaca Road, and is an ideal place for family outings, picnics or other social activities.
VCR managing director Vishnu Tewarie said the resort is completely fenced with two security booths, cameras and recording devices, water, lights, and washroom facilities.
When completed in December 2011, the resort will feature a butterfly farm, tilipia pond, walk-in-aviary, several varieties of fruit trees, and parking for 200 cars.
There is a river which is ideal for river limes with carat sheds lining the river bank. The sheds are outfitted with LPG ring stoves water, and seating accommodation.
Tewarie said that special discounts will be given for weddings, retreats meetings and so on.
There will also be cabins with a full kitchen, including stove, a refrigerator, microwave, kettle, and utensils. The bedrooms will be air conditioned but will also have wooden louvres.
The opening ceremony included a short addresses, awards for Saffire employees with ten years service and over, songs, dances, and satsang.
Among those in attendance were Arima’s deputy mayor Patricia Cedeno Meteiver and representatives of the Ministry of Tourism.
