Sat Maharaj appointed trustee of Central Vishwa Hindu Parishad

Secretary General of the Sanatan Dharma Maha Sabha of Trinidad and Tobago, Satnarayan Maharaj has been appointed one of the Trustees of the Central Vishwa Hindu Parishad for a period of three years with effect from January 26, 2011.

The Sanatan Dharma Maha Sabha is closely linked to a number of international Hindu organisations with whom they share information and provide international support to one another.

The RSS and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) are the most powerful emerging out of India and stretching across more than 125 countries worldwide. The VHP and the RSS compliment each other and provide international support to Hindu groups that feel threatened and suppressed both inside and outside of India.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad is located in New Delhi at its massive Sankat Mochan Ashram Headquarters. Under the direction of its most powerful leader Ashok Sengal, the VHP has been reaching out and expanding in every continent in the world.

The Maha Sabha and Sat Maharaj, its General Secretary has held a special relationship with Ashok Sengal who is regarded as the most powerful Hindu on the planet.

The Swami Vigyanand joint General Secretary of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad informed Maharaj of this prestigious appointment as he celebrated his 80th birthday on Sunday April 17.
