Gala opening of ‘Girls on the Side’

This brand new, rib-tickling comedy takes a hilarious look at a wild weekend in Tobago where two brothers, one married and one soon to be married, get involved with two sisters, one wild and one recently back on the dating scene. What happens as the weekend unfolds takes the audience on a crazy, laughter filled and emotional ride that will make an unforgettable night at the theatre.

Girls on the Side, by Norm Foster, is the latest from the acclaimed production houses RR/RS Productions which have consistently raised the bar in quality comic entertainment and is seen by many as the leaders in commercial theatre and who continue to expand with scheduled performances later this year in Barbados and Canada. They have produced the box office and critically acclaimed, Mary Could Dance, Men Are Dogs, Love Thy Neighbour and most recently The Prime Minister's Speech.

Girls on the Side features among its stellar cast the likes of Richard Ragoobarsingh, Nigel Auguste, Caroline Taylor and Leslie Ann Lavine who won standing ovations for her recent role as the Prime Minister in The Prime Minister’s Speech. It is directed by Debra Boucaud Mason.

The gala opening tonight will begin at 9 pm. The play runs continues until Sunday. Showtimes are Friday at 9 pm, Saturday at 8.30 pm and Sunday at 6.30 pm.
