In her role as vice president, public relations and corporate image, Ganness brings a wealth of experience to the agency in the field of media and communications spanning over 19 years. She has won several awards for excellence in journalism, including the Caribbean Broadcasting Union Merit Award in 1996 for Best News Feature, the Media Association of Trinidad and Tobago (MATT) and RBTT award for Best News Story —Television in 2004 and Luminary of Journalism awarded to her by MATT and BPTT in 2007.
Ganness’ communications experience includes working with both Government and the private sector, first as communications officer with the Ministry of Information and more recently, as communications consultant with the public relations firm, SWF and Company. She has serviced several national and multi-national companies in Trinidad and Tobago and the region, including MasterCard, AstraZeneca, General Electric, British Airways and Digicel.
