Wimbledon coverage on DIRECTV

Interactive coverage runs from the start of the tournament tomorrow (MONDAY) until Friday June 29.

The entire tournament will be aired exclusively on ESPN International (Channel 620), ESPN2 (Channel 624) and ESPN HD (Channel 1011) until the July 8 Final.

The Wimbledon Mix channel’s format (601/638) will be the same as previous Grand Slam Tournaments. There will be two rows of three windows each.

The first window on each row, to the left will be reserved for two ESPN channels (ESPN International and ESPN 2). The four remaining windows will broadcast exclusive live coverage by DIRECTV’s team in London.

These additional four channels can be accessed on channels 639-642 or selected on the mosaic to be brought full screen.

Coverage will run from 7 am until 3 pm each day while, for the working folks, they need not worry as one’s DVR can be set to record the matches during the day.
