National Intercol Finals kick off today

Today’s double header will see defending girls champions St Augustine Secondary do battle with the consistently improving Point Fortin for the BGT&T First Citizens Bank Intercol National title at 3pm.

St Benedict’s College will square of against East Mucurapo in search for the Coca Cola Intercol title from 5 pm.

St Augustine Secondary, who won the East Zone title along with the Big Four title, secured their spot in the Intercol final after crushing Miracle Ministries 9-0 last week in the national semifinal round and will be confident of another trophy.

Point Fortin missed out on the Big Four finals after losing to St Augustine but will have a chance to seek revenge after whipping St Francois 8-0.

Meanwhile, St Benedict’s, who defeated the Premier Division and Big Four champions Naparima College 2-1, will be keen on capping their dream run with the title.
