Playing unbeaten throughout the qualifier stages, Andrews had a tough time getting past eventual silver medallist Sanjeev Seenath, who proved to pose a formidable threat to the crown on his journey to the final. After going down 5-7 in the opening set against a persistent Seenath, Andrews bounced back to claim the second set 6-1 and then follow up with a commanding 10-3 showing in the Super Tie Break to capture the boys title.

In the girls’ equivalent, King dominated proceedings by easing past Lily Lanser 6-3, 6-3 in the final to hoist the 2014 trophy.

Meanwhile Aidan Carter claimed top honours in the Boys Uner-12 Singles as he also held off a surging Ethan Jery in the championship match. Jeary failed to capitalise on his 2-4 first set victory and went on to lose out 4-1, 10-5 (Super Tie Break) at the hands of a determined Carter. Yin Lee Assang on the other hand, powered to gold in the Girls Under-12 division by getting past Solange Skeene 4-1, 4-2.

Lee Assang then added another RBC title to her campaign as she partnered with Victoria Koylass to capture the Girls Under-14 Doubles crown. In the final, the Lee Assang/ Koylass pair ousted King/Thalia Skeene 2-6, 6-4, 10-7.

Nabeel Mohammed also took home two titles on the final day as he powered to victory in the Boys Under-18 Singles and Doubles categories. In the former, Mohammed comfortably defeated Ross Hackshaw 6-3, 6-0 and then teamed up with Timothy Davis to oust Brandon Gregoire/Aaron Soo Ping Chow 7-5, 7-5 in the latter final.

And in the Girls U-18 Singles, Emma Rose Trestrail showed class when she emerged victorious (6-0, 6-2) against Shauna Fitzwilliam in the final.
