Tail wagging the dog in prisons
Jail is a place where discipline is enforced after you are sent there by the courts.
From my confused state of mind, things seems to have changed.
The tail is now wagging the dog, with the inmates controlling the system and being protected by the courts.
From what I have been seeing via the electronic media, prisoners are attacking prison officers violently and asking for redress from the courts.
Who created this mess where prisoners are on remand for ten years? The Judiciary.
Is this a developing don’t-care syndrome? As I said recently, our institutions are cracking up.
