Maximising your inner consciousness
In his 1995 book – Emotional Intelligence, a New York times best seller for approximately a year and a half, Daniel Coleman, psychologist and science journalist, defined self-awareness as “knowing one’s internal states, preference, resources and intuitions.” Close monitoring of one’s inner awareness and consciousness, is important for effective human functioning and life’s co-existence.
Consciousness delves beyond mere feelings and thoughts; it is a meaningful connection between your inner being and the external environment.
Growing within your awareness also creates exponential inner growth, as the deepest aspects of your inner being become more noticeable to you as an individual.
Building a stronger inner you, is an automatic ticket to better understanding who you really are; in the absence of that sense of inner awareness, you can become a victim of your own circumstances, as you would only respond when things happen, as opposed to being prepared and proactive, when occurrences take place. Enhancing your awareness lenses, starts with focusing attention on your body and being able to discern the difference between negative and positive levels of energy; this would allow you to feel the presence of your own vigour.
Integration of your thoughts into your body’s energy is also important as greater synergy is created. Boosting your self-empowerment and self-confidence also solidifies connections to other aspects of your awareness, resulting in reducing your fear of the unknown.
It’s also important to minimise or even ignore distractions as they tend to prevent you from connecting with your inner awareness; being able to manage issues of denial can blur your path thereby creating a mental block; also aligned to your awareness is your intuition, which can be further supported by meditation and introspection.
One of the extraordinary blueprints that can be used to effectively maximising one’s inner awareness, is to ensure that there is consistency in maintaining high levels of energy at both internal and external levels.
