Alves qualifies first in World BMX Championship

Alves qualified ahead of Gino Stewart and Jorrit van Drumpt in the category. The finals in the category is scheduled to take place today, the last day of competition which is an international BMX freestyle contest hosted by the International BMX Freestyle Federation.

The TT BMX Freestyle Association stated they are very proud of Alves and thanked Dexter Charles, Group Corporate Communications Manager at First Citizens, for helping Alves with the trip.

Some of the other categories in the tournament are the BMX Pro Flatland, BMX Pro Dirt and the BMX Pro Park. Alves will return to TT on Tuesday.
