Women charged for drunk driving

Also appearing before the magistrate yesterday for drunk driving was a 34-year-old Point Fortin man. He was fined $20,000 and disqualified from holding a driver’s permit for three years.

In court yesterday, the State collected fines totalling $86,000.

The exercise was co-ordinated by Snr Supt Balram and supervised by ASP Jackman along with Insp Mongroo and Sgt Gosine and his team from the South Western Division DUI Unit.
