For Trinis, good times very easy

Now, since when does anyone, far less a Trini, need endless money to have a good time? For many of us, once we have one energetic neighbour to talk to, we good to go. If there are four of us, six pommecythere, salt, pepper, chadon beni and garlic, we real happy.

Others may need Crix, cheese, rum, coconut water, a cuatro and bottle and spoon — voila, happiness.

Some others good with just a quiet prayer group.

So, Mr high-flying financial expert, please do not try to mislead us anymore into a false state of financial happiness, the lack of which is largely responsible for much of the violent crime in TT today.

If you don’t believe me, then just ask some of our much poorer but better behaved neighbours in Grenada and St Vincent.
