$22 million for Education Tower

Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley formally opened the Tower on June 28 The document also shows that $10 million has been allocated in fiscal 2017 for the fit out of Government Campus Plaza in Port-of- Spain. This allocation increased from 5,981,002 in 2016 to $10 million for 2017. No allocations were made in 2016 or 2017 for a $497 million interest payment on the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba. While CEPEP was under this ministry in 2015, it had an allocation for that year of $573 million. That allocation has been eliminated with CEPEP’s transfer to the Rural Development and Local Government Ministry.
