Change starts with politicians

Our country is in urgent need of wise and mature individuals to take us out of the crime scourge.

Once our leaders start this pilgrimage to work together their pronouncements on the campaign trail will have to change. Campaigning should be about issues, not personal.

The last election campaign was the worst I have seen and heard.

Those in our society who misbehave believe “if the politicians could play who is we”.

Our society needs decency, starting from our leaders who talk without thinking. The younger ones are listening to them and the newspapers report word for word. So please politicians, give the youths a chance and use a level of intelligence that our young ones can emulate.

I believe the beginning of change can start with the behaviour and the utterings of the politicians.

They won’t agree all the time, but they can keep it clean for the most vulnerable in our society.
