Flow warns about fake technicians
“Please note that these calls are not from Flow,” the company said in a release issued yesterday.
“If you have not called Flow to add a new service, for service installation or another service related matter that requires that our technicians visit you, please do not accept any requests to come into your home,” the release said.
Official Flow visits, the release said, are preceded by a phone call from Flow Dispatch Office from a number that begins with 223-.
The dispatch office will call on the day before to agree on an appointment for an authorised person to give the technicians access to the home. A verification call is also made on the day of the visit.
