EFCL to conduct repairs

An EFCL release said that its officials have been on site at the school and have assessed the situation.

Effective November 21, the EFCL said, “a contractor has been engaged to commence emergency electrical work.” The electrical work includes replacement and repair of a high voltage main cable, testing of a transformer and repair to the low voltage cable. It is expected that all work will be completed within 24 to 48 hours from yesterday after which time classes should return to a state of normalcy.
