Police believe body found is that of Sando man

Alexis, a father of two, was last seen by relatives on December 20 when he left his San Fernando home. He was not seen or heard from since. According to a police report, a decomposing body was found off a precipice near Quarry Settlement, Siparia. When Newsday visited Alexis’ home, a relative said that based on certain information, the body found was ‘more than likely Alexis’ but he did not wish to further speak to reporters on the incident. Police have since obtained samples from relatives which would confirm the identity.
