Sangre Grande Hindu advance to Cricket League quarters

Having topped their North Eastern educational district earlier in the season, Sangre Grande Hindu advanced to the national playoff group stages, where their form continued as they secured victory over both Rosary Boys Roman Catholic School and Arima Boys RC School.

Coach Angad Arjoonsingh stated, “This group of youngsters are a promising bunch and (we) hope that they can go all the way to bring back the esteemed title back to Sangre Grande as (they) did back in 2006 and 2011.” With continuous improvement shown from the team, he is hopeful that the formidable pair of all-rounders, Shiva Singh and Aiden Lackhansingh will continue to be instrumental in the team’s pursuit to the title.
