Parosin goes Gasparillo tonight

Parosin is about an older woman who struggles to settle down after her divorce. Theatre lovers can follow the drama at the Gasparillo Community Centre at Bonne Aventure Road from 6.30 pm. Actress and dramatist Tracy Jagerssar who is backstage manager of Parosin said the visual and performing arts are her passion. She has been involved in several workshops for the performing arts sponsored by the Ministry of Community Development. Touting the benefits of such training, Jagerssar noted that students of the Princes Town Theatre Workshop “have shown great improvements in their overall acting and performing abilities due to their involvement in these workshops”.

Teenager Selena Ramsingh who will portray the role of Sheila said “getting involved in theatre arts is one of the best decisions I have ever made.” This play also stars Varma Maharaj, Rennie KC Lallan, Renee Joseph, Dave Ramoutar, Anita Ramoutar, Suruj Ramsingh and Vishal Persad.
