Barrackpore schoolgirl reported missing

Lal, a Form Four pupil of the ASJA Girls College in Barrackpore, was last seen on Sunday at about 5 pm at the family’s home at Oropouche South Trace, Barrackpore.

A media release issued yesterday by the Police Public Affairs Unit said she was wearing a green jersey, blue three-quarter pants and black slippers.

Her mother, Kamla Lal, reported her missing to the Barrackpore Police Station the next day at about 5 pm. Lal is of East Indian descent, five foot five inches tall, slim built, with a dark brown complexion and shoulder-length black hair. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call 800-TIPS or contact the police at 555, 999, 911 or any police station.
